Seminary

Seminary is one of San Anselmo’s most coveted residential locations.

Welcome to Seminary

The neighborhood with a majestic atmosphere nestled in a small town

Encircling the architecturally stunning University of Redlands, Marin Campus, the neighborhood of Seminary is one of San Anselmo’s most coveted residential locations. Seminary was named for the dazzling, castle-like seminary structure at the heart of the community, perched among the forested hills.

The view in Seminary makes this location feel born of a fairytale, and gorgeous tree-lined streets are adorned with resplendent estate homes and single-family houses. Though their price point tends to be high, the cost is more than worth it when weighing the many benefits of this exclusive neighborhood.

Much like San Anselmo, the neighborhood of Seminary gives off a historic, charming vibe that brings with it a sense of refined ease and luxury. It’s adjacent to Ross, which makes it super centrally located in Marin County and, consequently, a great place for commuters or those who want a private atmosphere within the larger San Francisco Metropolis area.

What To Love

People & Lifestyle

Its small population of fewer than 300 residents gives Seminary an intimate feel and makes it the kind of place where neighbors might celebrate special occasions together, and the kids play for the same soccer team. Highly affluent, Seminary has breathtaking homes and well-kept green spaces, especially as part of the University of Redlands, Marin Campus. It boasts excellent schools and is a great place to raise a family.

Though the food and dining in Seminary is by and large the star of the show, the area also has convenient stores and markets to meet your day-to-day needs, in addition to several boutiques and shops. Most notably, Red Hills Shopping Center houses fitness centers, spa locations, local specialty shops, coffee shops, banking, and grocery markets.

Seminary and the San Anselmo area at large is bursting with choices for dining, and the food here can range from authentic global cuisine, down-home comfort fare, all the way to gluten-free bakeries. A classic slice and great brews can both be found at Creekside, a neighborhood hit whose menu includes gourmet pizzas, sandwiches, wings, salads, and so much more. At M.H.
